Characteristic Teaching&Research Activities
So as to further implement the new curriculum standards, enhance students’ core literacy and enrich their campus cultural life, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Department meticulously made plans and required each teaching and research group to carry out the characteristic teaching and research activities.
In the first place, in order to improve students’ mathematical skills, the Mathematics Teaching and Research Group held a Senior High School Math Skills Competition and the winners were as follows:
First prize winners: Hu Xinyi and Zhang Jiawen.
Second place competitors: Yang Yang, Zhao Zhiyu, Hu Xinhai and Zhang Zheng.
Third award contestants: Hong Zhicheng, Chen Siwei, Yang Xuanye, Tong Ping, Chu Hao and Wang Youzhi.
In the second place, the Politics Teaching and Research Group led students to participate in campus cultural activities, enabled them to consolidate and deepen the knowledge they’ve learnt in class, enriched students’ extracurricular knowledge in addition to cultivating and developing their interests and specialties to boost the harmonious development of students’ body and soul. Therefore, the Politics Teaching and Research Group organized the Hand-Copied Newspaper Competition and students signed up enthusiastically.

Second prize candidates: Li Peipei, Yang Xinpeng and Xu Ziyang.
Third award players: He Hongliang, Shen Jiayu and Wang Wenqing.
Last but not the least, the History Teaching and Research Group held the Hand-Copied Newspaper Contest to further stimulate students’ interest in history learning, apply the knowledge they’ve learned into life practice, actively commemorate and respond to the call of the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening-up policy as well as let students fully feel the tremendous changes since China implemented the reform and opening-up policy forty years ago to enhance students’ national pride. Based on the judges’ assessment, we had the winners here:
First award winners: Yu Wenjing, Wang Jie and Lu Guozhu.
Second place candidates: Ye Huixin, Hu Yinghui, Han Xingyue and Yan Xi.
Third prize contestants: Shu Yuan, Zhang Yang, Wang Xinna, Wang Zhe, Ye Xin’ai, Cao Xinyu, Hu Yue and Zhou Ruiyang.
